Michele Medina was encouraged to play the violin when she was 10 years old in the Granite School District. Michele has taught the violin and cello to students of Wasatch Music Coaching Academy and Jordan School District (2002-2005).  She has played with various community and collegiate orchestras, and has had tremendous guidance from the Utah Youth Symphony Orchestra director and violinist Barbara Scowcroft. Other teachers have been David Park, Kelly Richardson, and most currently Irina Vigil.  Michele will begin teaching music and art in Juticalpa, Honduras beginning in mid-August of this year.
